Grants Commission report on the distribution of the Commonwealth Financial Assistance Grant in Queensland

This is a yearly report produced by the Commission outlining the allocation of the Financial Assistance Grant for the financial year and the methodology used to allocate the grant.

From 2003 onwards, these reports also include information about activities the Commission has undertaken in the past year, and its goals for the coming twelve months. Tables of data used in the calculation and cost adjustors are included as appendices in the report.

Methodology Review

At its meeting in December 2001, the Commission decided to review the methodology used in Queensland for the allocation of the Financial Assistance Grant. This review was completed in January 2003.

During the review, the Commission produced two reports, the Draft Report in September 2002 and the Final Report in January 2003, as well as making a number of presentations at regional seminars across the State. The reports are available under the Methodology Review and Presentations sections.
